Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer with Youth Improvement Services. Our community based non-profit is small, but we are making a great impact. We rely on the support of people like you, who want to give back and help homeless and at-risk youth.

The information you provide on this application is confidential. It will help us to get to know you and learn how you would like to make a difference.

In order to protect you, our nonprofit, clients and other stakeholders, we do a background check and reference check on all volunteers. Each volunteer should be able to commit to 2 or more hours per week.

Volunteer Grant Writer & Fundraiser - Research and write grants. Secure corporate sponsorship. Coordinate online fundraising for the organization's programs and mission. Help to solicit major gifts from potential donors.

Volunteer Youth Advisor - Work with youth clients to secure housing, clothing, food, medical and mental health care. Connect clients to employment or educational/training opportunities to put them on a path to social and economic mobility.  

Volunteer Marketing and Social Media Specialist - Develop marketing material, graphics, website design.

Volunteer Research, Measurement & Impact Specialist - Help to research issues related to youth homelessness and at-risk youth. Compile data and develop reports on our organization's outcomes and impact on the community.
