The number of classes and activities available to our students is enormous. As parents, we want our kids to work hard and achieve their potential without becoming overwhelmed, discouraged, or burned out.

This biology seminar will help you understand:

Biology Seminar Speaker: Mrs. Webster
With over 10 years of tutoring and editing experience, Mrs. Webster specializes in teaching biology, preparing students for standardized testing, and editing college applications. Funny, articulate, and knowledgeable, she is often referred to as "the best teacher" by her students.
Raised by Jewish parents, Mrs. Webster was a National Merit Scholar. Funded by a thirty-thousand dollar writing scholarship, she earned a BS in biology minoring in Studio Art at Lake Forest College, Illinois. She the studied neuroscience at UAB and received a M.S. in Biomedical Science.

In 2019, at least 25 of SpringLight's students qualified for the USABO semifinal. At least 9 of them are 8th and 9th graders.
In 2018, more than 30%, at least 17 of SpringLight's students qualified for the USABO semifinal. At least 2 of them at the top 50 from the 2nd round contest.
In 2017, around 30% of our students qualified for the USABO semifinal. 2 students qualified for the final and get into USABO camp.
Starting 2014 to 2017, every year we have had at least one student qualify for the Final (each year there are only a total of 20 finalists nationally).
Every year we have 9th graders qualifying for the USABO semifinal.
Most of our students receive a score of 5 on their AP biology test.
Many of them score an 800 on the SAT II Biology.
