These meetings would best suit mothers who are breastfeeding beyond babyhood. La Leche meetings are great places to meet mothers who are breastfeeding in your local community, so please go ahead and register if you would like to come, whether or not you have a current feeding problem.
Can my partner/supporter attend with me?
We usually keep our meetings as a space for those who are pregnant, have given birth, or are breastfeeding. However, if an attendee needs support (e.g. physical help, language interpretation, emotional support) from someone else to enable them to come, then we will do all we can to make that work, taking into account the needs of others in the room.

bit.ly/llloxonantenatal Location, transport & accessibility Venue: The Berin Centre, Wimblestraw Road, Wallingford OX10 7LZ (next to Berinsfield library and Abbey Sports Centre).
Timing: Berinsfield meetings run from 10.30 - 12.00 pm. Please don't arrive before 10.20, as we will be setting up the room. The discussion will start promptly at 10.30 am.
Entering the building:
Please walk up the ramp to the left of the building and enter via the back door. If you would prefer to be met outside the venue then please let us know in advance and aim to arrive early. The venue is fully accessible.
Parking: Free parking is available to the side or rear of the Berin Centre. If you need guaranteed parking for accessibility reasons, please let us know in advance, and aim to arrive early.
Public transport: From Oxford, take the X40 River Rapids bus (towards Reading Town Centre) to the A4074 Layby stop. Walk the last 5 minutes (0.2 miles) down Shadwell Road and turn right onto Wimblestraw Road. Cross the road to enter the venue.
Practical arrangements
Our venue is a community centre with comfy sofas, seats and mats on the floor. There are plenty of toys and books for young children of all ages. We will provide tea, coffee & cold drinks. You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments.
There is an accessible toilet but no baby changing - please bring your own changing mat, if relevant.
There is a
community cafe on site that serves both hot and cold food as well as a range of drinks.
What to expect at the meetingLLL meetings are about mother-to-mother support, as well as giving you the opportunity to get help from La Leche League Leaders. We hope that you will enjoy each other’s company and be generous with your ideas, experiences and support. LLL Leaders (trained breastfeeding counsellors) will facilitate discussion and do our best to help with feeding issues.
