Introduction Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Champaign County Visitors Bureau to enhance tourism and community engagement in Champaign County. This application is intended for individuals, organizations, and businesses seeking grants or funding to support projects, events, or initiatives that align with the CVB’s mission to promote and develop tourism in our region.

Application Guidelines

Eligibility: Applicants must demonstrate that their project will directly benefit tourism, economic development, or the visibility of Champaign County as a travel destination.
Funding Use: Grants may be used for event promotion, facility improvements, marketing campaigns, or other tourism-related expenses. Funds may not be used for general operating costs.
Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted no later than 6 weeks before the event/deadline. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Evaluation Criteria: Applications will be reviewed based on the following:

Alignment with CVB goals
Potential to attract visitors or enhance the visitor experience
Feasibility and budget clarity
Community impact
