CENZ Certificate Pathway
Todd Rounghton from Homeschooling NZ (
) will be running an information session at the HASCA Hub on Thursday 7th May 10am - 11:30 a.m.
Home Schooling NZ's goal is to encourage and assist New Zealand families in the education of their own children by offering them the best advice and support they can.
HSNZ is a Christian homeschooling organization overseen by the Christian Education New Zealand Foundation Trust (CENZ), a charitable foundation that provides strategic direction, guidance, support and oversight.
HSNZ is staffed by professionally-trained and qualified teachers with a wide breadth of teaching experience. For the last 35 years they have provided quality, professional educational assistance and support to thousands of parents and students throughout NZ
The CENZ Certificates
The overseeing body of Home Schooling NZ, the Christian Education New Zealand Foundation Trust (CENZ) awards three Certificates.
CENZ Certificate of Academic Achievement
CENZ Level 3 Certificate
CENZ Level 3 Certificate with Honours
The Certificate of Academic Achievement may be crafted to contain whatever courses and credits a student’s future employer or tertiary trainer wants to see, and the Level 3 Certificates are a formally recognised university entrance standard in New Zealand, alongside NCEA Level 3, Cambridge A and International Baccalaureate.
The CENZ certificate framework is crafted to give students the maximum amount of liberty in selecting both subjects and providers. So long as a course meets the fixed academic and integrity standards required, students are free to choose and incorporate material from virtually anywhere on the globe.
Todd will be sharing with us exactly how the CENZ Certificates work and how families can use them as an alternative UE pathway or as a vocational pathway.
