We, as National Board, would like to open a position to join the Board for a partial term of 1 year. This would fill the position of National Director of Technology. 

In the past year, the 4 of us have been heavily focused on the most important positions of President, VP, Secretary, Finance, Compliance, Alumnae Relations/Newsletter, and Recruitment and Retention. Because of this, we have lacked in our website editing and updates, and content creation on social media. Opening up the Board to another sister would really help with tasks that we have not been able to achieve since our term started.

Any alumna sister member and upcoming graduate sister is eligible to hold this partial term of 1 year as National Director of Technology. This is a great opportunity to gain skills on National Board and rediscover sisterhood with the newer sisters again. With this partial term, this sister may be able to gain the knowledge and confidence to hold other National Board positions in full 2 year terms in the future.

According to the Constitution:

The National Director of Technology shall work in partnership with chapter web hosts and designers to ensure websites and other online media fall within specified constitutional guidelines. 

The National Director of Technology shall build and maintain Delta Chi Lambda’s national website. 

The National Director of Technology shall ensure all chapter websites are up to date, functioning, and appropriately shared. 

She shall ensure that access to all sorority accounts is securely maintained through chairholder transitions by being listed as the recovery account for all critical sorority email accounts associated with social media.

The National Director of Technology shall maintain the official social media accounts for Delta Chi Lambda.

Nominations will be open until Wednesday, April 23rd 11:59pm

Nomination emails will be sent out the following day.

Nominated sisters will have until Saturday, April 26th 11:59pm to accept or decline

Nominated sisters must prepare a speech for Beta Chapter's final meeting of the semester on Monday, April 28th 7:30pm (in-person or virtually)

They will transition to the position at the next National Board in May, which is usually held on the last Wednesday or Thursday of each month.
