NYCGBOA and Mecca Network of Officiating Developmental Camp 2023
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE ORDER RECEIVED.

New York City Girls Basketball Officials Affiliation and Mecca Network of Officiating will have a Referee Instructional Camp for Women’s Basketball in the Taffner Field House in conjunction with the St. John's University Women's Basketball Team Camp located at 8000 Utopia Parkway Queens, NY 11439.

CAMP DATES:
Saturday, June 24, 2023 8:00AM - 3:00PM
Sunday, June 25, 2023 8:00AM - 3:00PM

Registration is limited so please submit this online form along with payment. This is a 2 Day Camp. Camp ends on Sunday at 3:00PM. You are not confirmed until payment is received.

The camp will focus on call selection, primary area coverage, game management,  positioning and administrative duties. Emphasis will be placed on 2 and 3 person mechanics used in officiating high school girls basketball.   Each camper will receive a wealth of knowledge from officials who work Women's Basketball on the High School, Collegiate and WNBA level.

Bernard Myers (Co-Director) Division I Official
Cornell Hampton (Co-Director) Observer for the Atlantic-10, Big East and Northeast Conferences; Co-Cordinator of Officials-Tournament of Champions, Coordinator of Officials for PSAL Girl's Basketball (Varsity, Junior Varsity, Middle School Basketball & the Multiple Pathway League).

There will be Supervisor of Officials in attendance from various High School Leagues. (TBA)

CAMP FEE:
$125.00 This will be the fee whether you attend one or both days.  We strongly encourage you to attend both days.
