The North Carolina Reading Association is providing an opportunity for members to apply for the scholarship. This scholarship will pay complete registration fees and housing (maximum 2-night stay) to attend the annual NCRA Conference in Winston-Salem, NC at the Benton Convention Center March 23-25, 2025. All educators from North Carolina classrooms and universities including, but not limited to, administrators, K-12 teachers, specialists, pre-service teachers, and professors may apply.
You must be a current member of the North Carolina Reading Association to apply for this scholarship.

The theme for the 2025 NCRA conference is "Lighting the Way to Literacy: A Beacon Towards a Brighter Future " and our Young Authors Project in conjunction with that is "Beacons of Light Shining Towards a Brighter Future".
NCRA Conference attendees are eligible to receive CEU credits for attending sessions on Sunday, Monday, and/or Tuesday. Be sure to contact your district representative for more information on the CEU credit submission process.
If you are selected for this scholarship, you will be invited to attend an awards recognition ceremony on March 23, 2025 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem. Room arrangements will be at one of the conference hotels in downtown Winston-Salem.
After attending the NCRA conference, the winner(s) must submit a letter via email within 60 days to the NCRA President and President-Elect describing the impact of this opportunity.
