BEST (Biochemical Excellence in Science and Technology) Summer High School Workshop Application
The Biochemical Excellence in Science and Technology (BEST) workshop was originally made possible through a grant funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Although this grant has ended, we will be offering the workshop in June of this year.

NATSCI-292: Lab Techniques in Biochemical Research is a FREE summer workshop offered to high school students. This course meets from 9:00am - 3:15pm Monday through Thursday (see dates below). Students will be exposed to scientific enquiry of conducting experiments, recording data, and analyzing results. Students will earn 1 college credit for completing the workshop. Lunch vouchers and free bus fare are included.

Workshop Session
The workshop will be offered from:

June 18-28, 2018, Monday through Thursday, 9:00am-3:15pm at the MATC Milwaukee Campus (700 W. State Street).

There will be a kick-off event from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, June 13th for participants and their family members.

The deadline for applications is Thursday, May 31st

If selected for the workshop, are you interested in free transportation on the Milwaukee County Transit System bus? (If unsure, select YES. You can always decline later). *
All participants in the course may elect to receive free bus fare. Unfortunately we cannot reimburse for parking.
