ABOUT FRIENDS OF TIVOLI LAKE PRESERVE AND FARMFriends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm, Inc (FTLPF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that facilitates conservation, environmental education and outdoor recreation within Tivoli Lake Preserve, the second largest urban preserve in New York State. Our activities empower individuals and families to enjoy the natural world, promoting healthier and more peaceful communities. We collaborate with a wide range of organizations, government and individuals to provide programming and urban agricultural opportunities to people of all backgrounds and skills.

This Waiver covers my participation in the following activities:
Garden Work Parties
Group Visits
Flax Apprenticeship Program
Trail Walks and Clean ups
Any events or activities on the property of Tivoli Lake Preserve or the Normanskill Farm
Any events or activities facilitated by Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm staff, volunteers, or contractors.
NOTICE OF PHOTOGRAPHY/FILMING:
Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm, Inc. (FTLPF) takes photos for marketing purposes including promotional posters, videos, and social media. If you do not wish to be included in a photo, please excuse yourself from the photo and we will not include you.
I grant the Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm, Inc. (FTLPF), its employees, and any of its representatives the right to take photographs or video of me and my property in connection with the above-identified activity. I authorize FTLPF, its representatives, and employees to use such photographs and/or video of me with or without my name for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, and Web content.
NOTICE OF LIABILITY:
When you participate in a Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm (FTLPF) event or program, you participate at your own risk. You agree to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless FTLPF, and its affiliates and sponsors and its and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from any and all claims for expenses, personal injury, losses or damages that may be incurred or caused by me during or in connection with my participating in this event, whether arising from the negligence of such persons or otherwise.
I attest that I am physically fit and prepared for this event. In consideration of my acceptance as a participant in this event, I hereby agree to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm, Inc. (FTLPF), and its affiliates and sponsors and its and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from any and all claims for expenses, personal injury, losses or damages that may be incurred or caused by me during or in connection with my participation in this event, whether arising from the negligence of such persons or otherwise.
NOTICE OF EMERGENCY CARE:
I acknowledge that care will be taken to avoid problems or accidents however: in consideration for being accepted by Friends of Tivoli Lake Preserve and Farm, Inc. for participation in all volunteer activities, I do hereby release, forever discharge and agree to hold harmless said organization, its employees, board and agents from any and all liability, claims or demands for personal injury, sickness or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever which may be incurred by the undersigned and the participant that occur while said person is participating in this trip and activities.
