The Deposit Assistance Program (DAP) allows App Academy's In-Person Full-Time course to be more accessible to people from communities historically underrepresented in tech. The definition of this ranges based around race/ethnicity, veteran status, disability, gender, LGBTQ, socio-economic background, age, and other identifiers.
Deposit Assistance DOES NOT eliminate the deposit entirely:We will award deposit assistance for up to 5 students per cohort and recipients will be awarded and notified four weeks prior to the start date of the cohort IF accepted. Students who are awarded the deposit assistance will be asked to submit their full deposit ($2,000) before the start of the program (with a deferred payment of $26,000).
