RSVP for Tuesday, May 8th "Being a Muslim in America Today" FORJ Mtg 7:30-9:00pm at Angier Elementary School - Kids 4th grade and up are welcome!
Join us for a diverse panel discussion with Muslim parents, educators, and members of our community. They will share their experiences and you will have a chance to ask questions. You are invited to come learn about different ways of being Muslim as you gain understanding, learn how to dispel myths and common misconceptions, and find ways to be more inclusive and supportive of Muslims in Newton and our wider community. This is a family event, meant for children 4th grade and up and their parents or caregivers.
Will this be your first FORJ (Families Organizing for Racial Justice) meeting?
Do you have any questions about Muslims or Islam that you hope to have answered on Tuesday night?
Do you have any suggestions for future FORJ meetings? We'd love to hear your ideas.
Which school(s) does your child(ren) attend?
If your child(ren) do not attend Newton Public Schools, please specify your school/town.
