2020 SPFS Teen Board Application
The Shalom Park Freedom School (SPFS) is pleased to accept applications from rising 10th graders through incoming college freshmen for its summer 2020 Teen Board, serving the program's Shalom Park site.

Teen Board members volunteer as school assistants, committing to at least two consecutive weeks between JUNE 22nd - JULY 30th, 2020. Assistants work five days a week, from 8:15 am - 4:15 pm (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and 8:15 am - 3:15 pm (Mon, Fri). Responsibilities include: working in classrooms, accompanying teachers and students on field trips, planning activities for the classroom, securing and delivering supplies, and other assistance as needed. Swimming with scholars will be required. Teen board members will also take part in fundraising; these funds will be used to send a scholar to the SPFS.

Teen board members will commit to attend an orientation meeting on April 26th at 12:30, and attend a kick off lunch June 18th or 19th. There is an option to volunteer for a two-hour shift to help set-up the site on either June 18th (10 am - noon; 1:15 - 3:15 pm) or June 19th (9 am - 11 am)

APPLICATION DEADLINE is March 23, 2020
