ELIGIBILITYAll artists submitting work for this exhibition opportunity must live and/or work within a 50-mile radius of the Colfax Cultural Center in South Bend. The exhibition itself must reflect current work.
SELECTIONThis call for entries is for artists, not for specific works. Therefore, you should submit with this application 5 to 8 images that represent your current direction and vision. If you are selected, your exhibition must reflect the nature of your direction/vision, not necessarily the submissions themselves.
MEDIAAll media are accepted for consideration with some physical restrictions:1. 3-dimensional work may be no heavier than 100 pounds2. Alternative media and installations will be considered as space and logistics allow. LIABILITYThe Colfax Cultural Center takes pride in the care it gives to the works of art the gallery committee chooses to exhibit. However, it has no insurance for its art exhibitions. Therefore it cannot accept financial liability for accidents and loss.
SALESThe Colfax Campus Gallery will take a 20% commission for any sales made during the exhibition. Artists shall set their own prices with this in mind. All works not-for-sale should be clearly marked.
APPLICATION PROCESS1. Complete the application below. Make sure to sign the application which confirms you agreement to the terms of the exhibition.
2. SUBMIT APPLICATION WITH:1. 5 – 8 images of artwork for consideration of the committee. Images may be mailed or emailed. Images must be labeled with artist name and title of piece. If images are mailed, they may be provided on a jump drive or CD. If you would like your jump drive or CD returned, please also include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with proper postage.
