Scholarship Application
The Philadelphia Falcons Soccer Club wants soccer to be accessible, inclusive, and affordable for all its members. To this end, we offer small scholarships to members who may lack the resources to participate fully in our soccer programming and related events. Scholarships are typically used to cover Falcons membership fees, internal Falcons league fees, Liberty Bell Classic fees, and annual banquet tickets. In alignment with mutual aid, we ask that scholarship recipients give back to the Falcons by donating their time to support Falcons events throughout the year and/or participating in our leagues, socials, and other activities.

For 2026, we are conducting a limited pilot of three new scholarship types:
  1. Soccer equipment - funds toward the purchase of cleats, shin guards, socks, a soccer ball, etc. 
  2. Travel tournament registration fees - funds to cover registration for a travel (or local) soccer tournament where you are participating on behalf of the Falcons
  3. Non-Falcons soccer league fees - funds to cover a season of non-Falcons league fees (e.g., CASA, HeyDay) with a Falcons-affiliated team (i.e., 75% of team is Falcons members). This scholarship is primarily oriented toward members who cannot attend Falcons internal leagues and have financial barriers to playing in an external league due to the higher price point.
These new scholarship types will require additional justification statements and are subject to more detailed review and approval by the Falcons Executive Committee. The Executive Committee may award full or partial scholarships based on need and fund availability.

To request any scholarship, complete the form below for review and approval by the Falcons Executive Committee. Please submit one response per type of need. For example, if you require a scholarship for your Falcons membership fees AND for spring league fees, you will need to submit the form twice.
