AUUC Religious Education Class Registration (2021-2022)
Welcome! We are glad that you and your family have decided to share your Sunday mornings with us at Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church (AUUC). We are pleased to offer religious education classes for preschool (3 years old) through 12th grade. If you would like to schedule an appointment with the DSD to discuss any aspect of your child's participation in AUUC’s RE program, you may initiate a conversation by contacting the DSD at dsd@accotinkuuc.org. Families registering for the first time are encouraged to schedule a time to discuss the program with our church staff.

We will primarily contact you through email; however, at times throughout the church year, the AUUC Director, Committee, and teachers may want to contact you with specific needs. In this case, we may choose to call or text you.

FEES: Our children and youth programs are funded by congregational pledges. This year, there are no registration fees; however, we are accepting donations to help support our program.

VOLUNTEERING: All families are expected to volunteer to help at some time or another, whether in the classroom or for a special event.

SPECIAL NEEDS: To the best of our ability, we include all children in our programs. If your child has special needs, please schedule an appointment with the Director of Spiritual Development (DSD) to discuss how to best integrate your child and support our volunteer teachers. You may reach the DSD at dsd@accotinkuuc.org.

Please note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, religious education programs are in the process of transitioning to in person meetings. The AUUC Re-opening Task Force will determine when it is safe for children and youth to return to in-person classes. We ask that anyone participating in our outdoor events, even occasionally be fully registered.
