Dancing in the Web of Data: a how-to guide
January 29, 2020, noon ET
Presenter: Josée Plamondon
Being found or discovered and leaving digital traces are the result of documentation work that is too rarely done on our websites. Josée Plamondon and Fondation Jean-Pierre Perrault sought to address these issues as part of a digital transformation initiative. The resulting guide, Bien documenter pour favoriser la découverte en ligne, provides the cultural sector with means that are within everyone's reach in order to carry out the most strategic part of a digital project: deciding how a work, for example, should be documented and determining what links it to other information in the web of data.
This 60-minute web conference will be two-fold. In the first half, Josée will share highlights from her guide. Then, we will have a Q&A and discussion period.
