AMA 2017 Session Proposal

PROPOSALS ARE DUE OCTOBER 24th, 2016

The Arkansas Museums Association is planning its 2017 Annual Conference, which will be held at Historic Washington State Park on March 28th - 30th, 2017. AMA provides a unique and stimulating environment for a diverse array of individuals and institutions to meet and learn from each other, sharing their expertise, building relationships, and increasing professionalism. The goal of the conference is to support and nurture the museum community through a mix of speakers as well as workshops, presentations, and discussions. Conference sessions typically include practical, informative presentations and in-depth discussions, showcasing examples of projects and initiatives that are relevant to museums in Arkansas. AMA members take ownership in the conference experience as presenters, speakers, panelists, discussion facilitators, and workshop leaders.

This year, the AMA conference theme is "Everything Old is New Again." While we encourage proposals that reflect that concept, it is not a requirement for submission.

Please read all guidelines thoroughly before submitting your proposal!
