Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, relax under the stars, and enjoy an evening of music, storytelling, and community with Alexia Raeana and band.
The radiant and brazen Alexis Raeana captivates audiences with a voice that feels both revolutionary and deeply familiar. A southeastern Indigenous songwriter, she crafts southern-soul melodies that electrify and resonate. Her debut single, “Keep My Memory,” raises awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and earned Lumbee Film of the Year at the Lumbee Film Festival. A rising star “built for comfort and speed,” Alexis has performed at the Live Oak Bank Pavilion with the Wilmington Symphony, We the Peoples Before at the Kennedy Center, Caesars Palace, American Idol, environmental justice rallies in Washington, DC, as an artist-in-residence at the Kennedy Center, Cameron Indoor Stadium, the Charlotte Hornets Spectrum Center, and a recent sold-out show at Wilmington’s intimate venue Bourgie Nights. A Wilma’s Rising Star finalist, she brings together music, organizing, and activism to protect Turtle Island while delivering a sound your soul didn’t know it needed.
