ARTivisim: Mobilizing the Climate Movement RSVP
Join Wasatch Rising Tide, the Environmental Humanities Program, and local climate justice groups as we explore the practice and strategy of creative activism. We will kick off the day with a panel of artists, writers, musicians, and dancers who embody diverse forms of art activism. In the afternoon, we will make powerful banners and puppets in an art build led by David Solnit, the North American Arts Organizer for 350. This art build will support upcoming actions planned by the local climate justice movement. For those interested in harnessing the power of personal stories, Giuliana Serena and Nan Seymour of The Bee will facilitate an introductory storytelling workshop on finding and strengthening our own voices and listening capacity in order to be more effective advocates for climate justice.

NOTE: If you would like to attend the FREE storytelling workshop, you MUST RSVP in the form below!
