First Fridays Sip & Stroll Sign Up - NON-PROFITS
Please complete & submit the form below to be added to the approved participation list. Applications must be received no later than the 10th of the month prior to your requested date.
Nonprofits will receive notification of their scheduled date and location once all slots are filled & a schedule is created. In order to showcase a variety of local organizations, nonprofits will be rotated each month when possible.
Nonprofits are expected to supply and be responsible for any necessary materials/supplies. Fredericksburg Main Street assumes no liability for any damage.
All sidewalks must remain passable for foot traffic including wheelchairs. Groups are expected to remain in their assigned area throughout their specified time. Drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited during your scheduled time. Art activities and behavior should reflect the family-friendly nature of the event.
Rules of Engagement:
BE COURTEOUS - If you’re setting up in front of a business, introduce yourself. Be sure not to impede pedestrian traffic, impose on parking spaces, or disrupt nearby businesses.
COME PREPARED - Participants are responsible for all the materials and tools they will need. It doesn’t hurt to bring some water and a snack, too.
LEAVE NO TRACE - Clean up any trash and leave the place looking better than when you found it.
FOCUS ON MAKING, NOT SELLING – While participants are encouraged to hand out business cards and other promotional materials, remember the spirit of the event is to showcase the local community.
