We are excited to have your child(ren) participating with us in AWANA clubs this year.
AWANA begins on Wednesday September 3rd.
AWANA will run each Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Cherry Tree Alliance Church.
As the first week of Awana is extra busy getting everyone checked-in, name tags, etc. we encourage early arrival for this week ONLY.
September 10th and on we cannot allow anyone to arrive prior to 6:20pm. This includes being left with older siblings at Capacity. Our Awana Clubbers MUST have a parent/adult guardian remain with them until they are signed into to our care. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Our weekly schedule and annual calendar will be included in the Parents’ Guide and Welcome Pack that you will receive at our OPENING Night - September 3rd.
The annual registration fee is $25 per child. Your child will be eligible to receive their handbook and uniform when the registration fee has been paid and they complete the challenges required in each club. Registration fees can be paid on Wednesday September 3rd with Cash, Debit Card or a Check. Scholarships are available. Please indicate in the comment section at the end of registration if you are interested. Please know those inquiries will remain confidential.
Your child(ren) should come prepared each week with his/her Bible, handbook or entrance booklet, and uniform (when received). Please assist your child(ren) to complete sections in his/her handbook. The handbook sections teach foundational Bible verses and doctrinal truths. Each handbook section completed is worth points and helps them get closer to their individual book goals and awards!
WHAT IS AWANA?
AWANA is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekly club programs for 3-year-olds and up. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of the words in the phrase “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15).
WHY AWANA?
AWANA exists to reach children and youth with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
OUR AWANA PROGRAM
Our AWANA program is one hour and thirty minutes long and includes four segments: Opening ceremony, Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time (Bible Lesson Time).
THE HEART OF AWANA
The heart of AWANA is the gospel message that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. Everyone is a sinner and deserves eternal punishment. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, paid the penalty for our sin when He was crucified on the cross and rose from the dead. If we trust Jesus Christ as Savior, we receive God’s gift of eternal life in heaven. Once we trust Jesus Christ as our Savior, we can never lose our salvation.
AWARDS
AWANA offers an award system that motivates clubbers to achieve individual awards as well as teaches them to encourage one another.
CLUBS
Cubbies — 3 and 4 year-olds
Sparks — Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
Truth and Training (T&T) — 3rd through 5th Grade
These clubs emphasize Bible memorization and Bible-centered activities.
We have tried to make this online registration form as painless and easy as possible for you. Please be sure to read each section carefully as there will be important information throughout!
We kindly ask that Cubbies wear pull-ups (unless fully potty-trained) and bring a change of clothes in their bag. We love our Cubbies and understand that accidents happen. We want to always be prepared and be sure that everyone has an enjoyable evening.
