Here's the basic idea:
You and a group of other high school journalists will hear from a local newsmaker of some kind, and be able to interview him or her. Then everyone will write a story about what you heard. Then MASPA Executive Director Brian Baron and whatever other adults he can scare up will score your stories against a journalism rubric while the group watches a journalism movie and eats some pizza. Then we'll handout some awards for the best stories, and you'll all be better high school journalists.
It will run from 9 am-1:30 pm, and cost $10 for the pizza and an honorarium for the speaker.
