The Hyattsville Community Development Corporation (HCDC) is the organizer for "Arts & Ales" the 2024 Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival. We love our artists and to demonstrate that love the festival is intended to focus on our artist community and feature their talents and work. So we typically don't allow non-artist or non-craft exhibitors to vend. However, we don't know everything, right?  So we're willing to entertain your request to participate, if your business is so unique, so cool, so funky or compelling that we'd be fools to exclude you.

Non-Artist Exhibition Criteria:

There are multiple ways for members of the community to participate in the festival besides exhibiting. This form is made available for prospective non-artist exhibitors only.  Since, as we mentioned, only original artwork, photography, handmade jewelry, handmade crafts, and creative literary arts are allowed to exhibit: we do not welcome vendors of commercial/corporate merchandise unless it is charmingly creative, unique, environmentally friendly in nature, and otherwise embraces the essence of this festival.  Those determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis by the Hyattsville CDC and its festival director.
