LIFE AT TRINITY with Mo. Cheryl, begins September 29 at 10:00am Sundays (ongoing), 3rd floor Lounge, 1st Sunday of the Month for Orientation, then Ongoing: This class is for anyone new to the Episcopal Church or would like to learn more about our community, worship and traditions. Join Mother Cheryl and others who are seeking to get to know us better. The ongoing class covers topics like the sacraments, the bible, how we worship, etc. The topical classes will repeat, so that if folks miss one, they can attend when it comes around again. We look forward to getting to know you better as you discover more about us and how life at Trinity reflects the hospitality, traditions and love of neighbor at the heart of the Episcopal Church.

DWELLING IN THE WORD with Sharon Kelso on Mondays at 9:30am in the 3rd floor Conference room. Reflection on scripture is a foundational practice all Christians are invited to adopt as a wasy of discerning God's voice in their own lives. Please join us for a weekly reflection on scripture -- the same scriptures read aloud in church services the Sunday before. The group will read and reflect on the following questions: what catches your attention? What questions does the passage raise for you? What might God be saying to you through the passage?

TEA WITH FR LEE Sundays July 7-August 25 at 10:00 am in the 3rd floor Library. Join Fr Lee for a casual conversation about current events, their impact on Trinity, and how we walk between the two.

FAITH IN LITERATURE is a monthly bookclub open meeting the 3rd Monday of each month at noon in the Nichols Great Hall. Bring your brown bag lunch. July 15 book is the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.

TRINITY ON TAP PUB THEOLOGY is an informal Gathering at Nothing's Left Brewery to share in fellowship and talk about anything and everything Theological. Facilitated by Fr Lee.

LIBERATION AND LITURGY: The Exodus Story Through the Asaph Psalms, an eight-week journey, taught by Erica Monge- Greer, that blends the dramatic Exodus narrative with the introspective Asaph Psalms. THE BIBLE IN ITS CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL SETTING Sundays, September 8-October 27 at 10 am 3rd Floor Conference room, taught by Dr. Erica Mongé-Greer. How do we understand what the Bible says when it addresses ancient and seemingly outdated ideas? Understanding biblical authors' cultural and historical context is crucial for accurate interpretation. This course will explore the ancient cultures that influenced biblical Scripture, providing a richer understanding of the Bible's messages.Gain a general overview of where, when, and how the Bible was formed and canonized. Examine individual biblical passages to understand their interpretation then and now, with an emphasis on ethics. Learn methods and tools for independent Bible study, enhancing intellectual and faith development. Practicing methods and introducing tools that will help with independent Bible study. Optional Reading and Reflection assignments will be provided. A working bibliography will also be available for continued self-study.

FILM Viewing: PHILADELPHIA ELEVEN, July in Nichols Great Hall. Watch a documentary about the first eleven women ordained to the priesthood in the Episcopal Church July 29, 1974. In an act akin to civil disobedience, a group of women and their supporters organize their ordination to become Episcopal priests in 1974. The Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia welcomes them, but change is no small task. The women are harassed, threatened and banned from stepping on church property. In this feature-length documentary film, we meet the women who challenge the very essence of patriarchy within Christendom and succeed in building a movement that transforms an age-old institution.

SECOND SUNDAY FORUM is the second Sunday of each month, Sept 8, Oct 13, Nov 10, Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 9, at 10 am in the Nichols Great Hall. In these forums we focus on a social justice issue and learn about how we can live into our baptismal covenant by helping our neighbor.

SOUL BOXES, Sunday, November 3, 10 am in Nichols Great Hall. Soul Boxes is a nationwide project to remember people who have died from gun violence. Make a box to remember them- either someone you know personally or in honor of someone from the list of Oklahomans. Together they will make a "quilt" and will be registered for family and friends to be able to find their loved ones. All supplies and instructions provided.

YOUTH CONFIRMATION CLASSES with Fr Lee, meet Sundays, August 11-Sept. 15, 6 pm (skipping Labor Day weekend). The first meeting is at Hideaway Pizza on 15th Street. Each week the class will discuss a chapter from the book, A People Called Episcopalians by John Westerhoff and Sharon Ely Pearson. Confirmation with Bishop Poulson will be Sunday, September 22, 11:00 am service.

COMMUNION CLASS with Deacon Deborah Underwood and Becky Moseman. This class meets Sundays, August 18, 25, September 8 in CDU 12-12:45pm. and Saturday, Sept 14 at Purple Glaze, tbd. What is the WHY behind what we do in our eucharist? What are all those fancy names for things and what the heck are they? Communion class is for children in Kindergarten to 4th grade. We'll learn about the parts of the service, the mystery of communion, try on some fancy garments and find out who wears them, take a tour of the working sacristy with the ladies in the blue coats (Altar Guild) and make a special chalice of our own. It is okay if the child has already had communion bread and wine before taking the class.

POPSICLES ON THE PLAYGROUND Sunday, July 14 at 10am with Becky Moseman. Celebrate being together, making a joyful noise, and seeing God in play.

LEGO BIBLE STORIES with Becky Moseman, Sunday, July 21 at 10 am in Nichols Great Hall. Imagine bible stories as they are read and build a scene with Legos. Build your own or work with others at your table.

BIBLE STORIES ORIGAMI with Becky Moseman, Sunday, August 11 at 10am in Nichols Great Hall. Each table will work together to read a scripture story and fold characters and scenes, one story at a time.

BIBLICAL STORYTELLING (Grades 4th-6th) meets Sundays at 10 am September 8-May 18 in the Library. Using Holy Moly curriculum, this class watches a short 5 minute silent film animation of a scripture story, reads the scripture, followed by discussion. This class sometimes has additional games and activities related to the topic of the day.

RITE-13 (Grades 7 & 8) meets Sundays at 10 am, September 8-May 18 in the 3rd floor Rite-13 room. Using Journey to Adulthood curriculum, this group is in its second year learning about friendship, society, deepening their faith through scripture and wondering with adult mentors. This class will have its Rite-13 liturgy rehearsal January 19 at 10 am and Rite-13 Liturgy at 11 am service. This liturgy marks our young people turning 13, leaving their childhood behind as they become teenagers, focussing on what it means to be an adult and discerning who they want to be. This class will meet once a month outside of Sunday morning class for an activity or service project.

J2A (Grades 9 & 10) meets Sundays at 10 am, September 8-May 18 in the 3rd floor J2A room. This class builds on the lessons from previous years in the Journey to Adulthood program. This year they will prepare for a spiritual pilgrimage scheduled for summer 2025. This class will meet once a month outside of class for an activity or service project.

4WARD (Grades 11 & 12) meets Sundays at 10 am, September 8-May 18 in the 3rd floor 4Ward room. This class will use some lessons from Journey to Adulthood and will supplement with The Bible Project videos for discussion. This class will meets once a month outside of class for an activity or service project.

GODLY PLAY (Ages 3-3rd grade) meets Sunday mornings during the sermon in the 9 am service. Sept. 8-May 18, Godly Play will meet at 10 am in 3rd floor classroom 2. Godly Play is a montessori based curriculum that uses wooden manipulatives and wondering questions that invite curiosity and encourage thinking theologically while still being developmentally appropriate for children. Anyone at any age can learn from these stories.
