Karma Yoga
An integral part of the Yoga tradition is Karma Yoga - the Yoga of Action, which is comprised of acts of Seva, or “service” to the community of your teacher/yoga school and neighborhood. Your contribution of your time and effort is seva - giving back to the place that provides you with the special gift of Yoga. As a student of yoga, your volunteer exchange is part of your sadhana (spiritual practice). It is a sacred reciprocal exchange that honors the value each brings to the others’ life.

Ojas contributes its own seva to the community by offering work-trade, discounts for seniors and kids, and personally subsidized scholarships to those with limited financial means.
