ATHENA Community Build: Volunteer Sign Up 
Safe Shelter has launched ATHENA (Affordable Tiny Home Educational Network of Asheville)!

ATHENA creates new opportunities for affordable and safe housing through combining education, workforce development, and community-based construction to build affordable tiny homes for people who have experienced homelessness or housing barriers. The program lowers construction costs through donated materials and volunteer labor while maintaining professional oversight and safety standards. 

We are looking for volunteers to support the project, whether through helping build the tiny homes, do landscaping/gardening on project sites, or documenting the process! No experience necessary.
