The EU is currently preparing for a new political chapter. From boosting business competitiveness and funding to upholding social rights, from mainstreaming sustainability in a feasible way for businesses to safeguarding democracy in the face of conflicts and rising individualism, the Union is facing pressing socio-economic challenges that require collective and coherent action.
The European Cooperative Movement is therefore gathering for an extraordinary event on 5 November in the European Parliament to showcase how cooperative enterprises are addressing challenges and providing innovative solutions to current issues. Join us to hear cooperatives from all sectors, including industry, service, agri-food and forestry, retail, banking, renewable energy, present their priorities for the 2024-2029 EU term and their vision for a sustainable and competitive Europe.
The event will take place on 5 November, 10h30-13h00 in the European Parliament in Brussels, room 3H1. The event is hosted by MEP Irene Tinagli (S&D), and organised by CECOP and Cooperatives Europe, with the support of REScoop, EACB, Eurocoop, and COGECA. Please register by 25 October.
Please note that seating is limited. Your registration will be confirmed by the organisers in due course.
