Brazil as a Strategic Partner for Sustainable Value Chains in Critical Raw Materials
The topic of strategic minerals is today on everyone’s lips. Brazil, one of the world’s ten largest economies, holds some of the planet’s richest reserves of critical and strategic raw materials. The country has a long-standing record of cooperation with the European Union, lies within a stable geopolitical region, and has been advancing remarkable public policies for sustainable development and industrial innovation.
Organized in partnership between ApexBrasil — the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency — and IBRAM, the Brazilian Mining Association, this session will bring together policymakers, executives, and experts to discuss Brazil’s evolving policy landscape (including the Nova Indústria Brasil strategy and others), sustainability frameworks, and opportunities for EU–Brazil cooperation in investment, innovation, and financing.
