Twiddler Limited Lifetime Warranty Registration
Twiddler products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. We believe in our workmanship and stand by our quality promise.
All products sold by Twiddler Inc. are warranted to the original registrant against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. YOU MUST REGISTER IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY. If your product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair it without charge, or replace it, up to three (3) times for each item and at our sole discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
To begin a warranty claim, please contact our Customer Support, attn: warranty department. To claim the lifetime warranty you may be required to send the original, defective item to Twiddler Inc. for inspection. To begin a return claim, please visit our Returns Policy page instead.
OTHER WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
This warranty is only available in the United States and Canada. Twiddler is not responsible for direct, incidental or consequential damages for any reason including damage resulting from a breach of a warranty or condition such as scratches in a device surface, lost data or lost or destroyed personal property. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty does not give the registrant any rights that bind Twiddler Inc. or its employees or subsidiaries. Twiddler Inc. may terminate the warranty program at any time for any reason without notice or compensation to the registrant. There is no monetary value to this warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations on the duration of the warranty may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
1. Is normal wear and tear covered by the lifetime warranty?
No. The Twiddler lifetime warranty covers defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. It does not cover normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Twiddler product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the lifetime warranty include colors fading, scratches and abrasions, and general breakdown of the materials over the years.
2. Who pays for shipping?
The customer pays for shipping of the defective product to Twiddler Inc. If the warranty claim is approved and the product is repaired or replaced, we will send you the product free of charge. Twiddler will absorb replacement product shipping charges for regular mail only. You may request that we return your product by UPS Overnight or 2nd Day Air, the additional shipping charges will be billed to you.
3. How do I send my products in for repair or replacement?
If you’re having problems with your Twiddler product, please contact our Customer Support with the word “warranty” in the subject, with a note providing information about the defects of the product. Once the necessary information is received, we will provide you with our warranty shipping address. Please do not ship defective products to the Twiddler corporate address without first initiating a return at Twiddler.ca.
Please make sure that the shipping is prepaid, the package is insured for full replacement value and you use a shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number. Please mark the areas in question on the product with colored tape or masking tape, so we can find them easily, and make sure that your note describes their location.
4. How do I find out about the status of my warranty claim?
Once we receive your product, we will email you to let you know the status and time estimate for the repair or replacement. If your warranty claim is rejected at this stage, we will provide you with reasons and provide return shipping for the product to you free of charge, if requested, at our discretion.
Our targeted turnaround time for warranty claims is 8 weeks from the day we receive your product at our facility until it is returned to you. If there are any delays we will let you know.
