Hello there! The Newton South High School Model UN team is so happy you're interested in joining the team for the 2020-2021 school year! If you're already apart of the team and on the email list, you don't have to fill this form out.

Model UN is a club where you research global issues as if you were apart of the actual United Nations, and a couple times a year, you go to super fun confrences with people all around the world where you get to present and debate the work that you've done in a mock United Nations environment. Not only is it fun and educational if you like global politics, economics, social issues, etc, but it also looks good on college applications, and we have leadership oppurtunites in the future for long-time members. Anyone who signs up can join, free of cuts, and no prior experience is required at all!

Practices are very lenient and chill-- they are usually every two weeks on Mondays after school. We are very flexible, and you can do sports, speech and debate team, most other clubs, etc while also being apart of Model UN.
