Students often pay more than $200 on individual textbooks, and it is well documented that the cost of higher education is a barrier to students completing their education. Open Educational Resources and Open Access Textbooks have emerged as feasible solutions to the rising textbook costs, but the major players in the OER movement have largely been resource-rich universities. Can a small, liberal arts university with limited resources participate in the OER movement? In this webinar Annie Baumann (Viterbo University) will discuss her library’s involvement in promoting OER adoption on her campus and helping faculty select open replacements for traditional textbooks.

We hope to see you there!
