The 2026 PNW Trombone Symposium will be held on Saturday (yes, Saturday), March 21st, 2026 from 9 am - 6 pm on the beautiful campus of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA at the Mary Baker Russell Building.

Registration fees (paid at the door) are $20 per adult. Students are free with ID!

Solo/Ensemble Feedback

This year we have a new opportunity for students: a chance to play a solo or ensemble for a panel of our clinicians and receive coaching and feedback!

This is a great opportunity for students preparing for the State Solo and Ensemble Contest, or just a chance to get some personal feedback on your playing! We will schedule these throughout the day.

Custom Shires Fitting!

Shires Product Specialist Alexis Smith will be available for free, in-person Custom Shires Fittings on at the Symposium on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22 (the day after the Symposium), with limited availability for fittings lasting approximately 1 hour.

What an amazing opportunity!

Saturday appointments will be done at the Symposium. Sunday appointments will be held at the The Mighty Quinn and Brass (in Redmond, WA).
