Thanksgiving 2024: Volunteer Interest Form

Thank you so much for your interest in helping us this Thanksgiving season! Since the pandemic, we have been able to host a series of activities in the community to provide our neighbors in need a dignified Thanksgiving experience. You’re welcome to learn about it here.

We are so lucky to get so many offers to help around Thanksgiving, and we always end up with more interest than available shoes to fill during the day of! We are unable to guarantee opportunities to give back for everyone who reaches out to us, but will try our best. Everyone completing this form will be automatically placed on a waitlist awaiting confirmation unless otherwise specified.

UPDATE! We have received over 100 interest sign ups and at this time are overbooked! If you'd like to be added to the waitlist in the event of a cancellation, please let us know. There's still time to bake a lovely dessert at home and drop off to participate!

Thanksgiving Day Volunteer Opportunities
Thanksgiving Day will include Thanksgiving Tuesday (November 26) in Bushwick, when we will be hosting our holiday meal, and Thanksgiving Thursday (November 28) when we will be hosting our holiday meal in Greenpoint, Williamsburg, and East Williamsburg. 

Volunteers will be helping us at each location between 10:00am - 1:30pm.

Important Note: We have age restrictions at our locations for safety purposes. Children younger than kindergarten age will not be permitted to participate unless otherwise specified.

On Thanksgiving Tuesday, we will be hosting a holiday meal only in Bushwick.
On Thanksgiving Thursday, we will be hosting a holiday meal across three sites: Greenpoint, Williamsburg, and East Williamsburg.

For Thanksgiving Thursday, please select your first and second location preferences. We will try our best to match you to your preferred location, but have to balance headcount by site.
