Polk City UMC Life Groups
The primary purpose of Life Groups at Polk City United Methodist Church is to make sure that everyone is connected to a small group of people who can keep up to date with each other's physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, especially in times of illness, tragedy, or other life concerns.

In the short term (May 2020 - May 2021) we anticipate that these groups will stay connected primarily through phone calls, texts, emails and other connection technology, as we live into a year of various phases of social distancing due to COVID-19. At a time when it is safe, we hope to see these groups engaging in life activities together, such as shared meals, movies, games etc.

To get connected to a Life Group at Polk City United Methodist Church, please sign up using this form.

Adults who wish to participate in the SAME life group (such as couples) should fill out one form per family unit. If there are adults in the same household who wish to participate in SEPARATE groups (such as a women's group, a men's group, or adult children in a separate group from parents) please fill out one form per person.

Group Leaders
Are you willing to be a Group Leader? (At this time, that would include organizing a way for your group to check-in with each other (phone tree, texting, emails, FaceTime, Zoom calls, etc. - whatever you and your group feel comfortable doing)

In the future, this might include organizing occasional social engagements. (NOTE: you are not required to host any gatherings - these could be at the church, a park, a restaurant, etc., when it is SAFE to gather in-person).
