2026 Honors Junior Invitational

The Groton Hill Wind Ensemble and conductor Dr. Fred Harris invite you to participate in the Honors Junior Invitational in the world class Concert Hall at Groton Hill on Sunday, May 17th at 1:00pm. 

Pieces to be performed include: 

No audition is necessary, only your teacher's recommendation. We will do our best to accept each nominated student, but in order to maintain a balanced instrumentation, we may not be able to accommodate everyone.

In order to participate, students will agree to the following schedule and prepare their parts prior to the concert.

SCHEDULE: 

  • Saturday, April 18, 12:30pm-1pm (optional) 
  • Saturday, May 2, 12:30-1:15pm - Rehearsal
  • Saturday, May 9, 12:30-1:15pm - Rehearsal
  • Saturday, May 16, 9:30-11am - Rehearsal
  • Sunday, May 17, 11:30am-12:30pm - Dress Rehearsal, 1:00pm CONCERT

There is no fee for students to participate. Concert tickets for family and friends are $15.

Deadline to sign up is Friday, April 3rd.
