2024-2025 PTC FIRST Team Grant Information
For FRC Teams: Due to fiscal year alignments, this grant will not be applied to your FIRST Dashboard until November at the earliest. While we will do everything in our power to have funds applied before initial registration is due, teams may utilize FIRST's re-granting process or apply the payment to later event registrations.
This grant is intended for any FRC or FTC team competing in the 2024 - 2025 season, FIRST DIVE.
Grants are provided to teams through FIRST and will be reflected in the "Funds & Grants" field of the Team Finances section in the FIRST Dashboard.
Priority is given to teams with strong usage plans for PTC software, teams committed to making the FIRST community more equally representative in terms of gender, race, and background, and teams with PTC mentors or coaches.

Grant Opens: July 1st, 2024
FTC Application Submission Deadline: Sunday, August 18, 2024

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Grant Policy
PTC will provide a limited number of grants to FTC teams for the 2023-2024 season. For FIRST Tech Challenge teams, the award is a $500 restricted grant in accordance with FIRST's granting policies. The money will be distributed directly from FIRST to the team, and can be used for any costs associated with participating in FIRST. Your team must be registered with FTC to receive the grant.
FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Grant Policy
PTC will provide a limited number of grants to FRC teams for the 2024 season. For FIRST Robotics Competition teams in the United States, the award is a $1,000 unrestricted grant. For FIRST Robotics teams outside of the United States, the award is a $1,000 restricted grant in accordance with FIRST's granting policies. If the team chooses to have the funds re-granted by FIRST, the funds become available after January 1, 2025 and the team is responsible for submitting the necessary documentation to FIRST (completed w9 form with a tax ID & the re-granting documents).

By submitting this application, your team understands there is no guarantee of a grant award by PTC now or in the future.
Teams that PTC sponsored in the past must reapply each year, meet the requirements outlined above, and be evaluated on the following criteria: whether the team is mentored/coached by a PTC employee, PTC software utilization and plans, and committed to FIRST's goal of increasing diversity to better represent the population of our communities.
