We know the school year is busy and overwhelming at times, even more so this year.  The PTO is so thankful for the generosity of our community towards our fundraising events over the years.  We have made efforts to adjust our budget according to what it appears the school year will look like, but in order to maintain many of the things we sponsor, fundraising is still necessary.  We still have a few fundraisers scheduled this school year, but we understand that not everyone is eager to participate in all that is involved.  Busy parents have requested a simplified way in which they can show their support but not participate in each fundraiser that comes home with their child(ren).  This Opt-Out option is a one-time donation that takes the place of all future fundraising for the entire school year.  It is purely voluntary and exists only to simplify the way in which you can support our students and the PTO!  100% of the money raised is used to support the activities and programs PTO provides, which typically includes field trips, staff appreciation, music programs, teacher classroom costs, and major goals, among many other items.  This year we also plan to continue to help the school with added costs due to COVID-19 requirements, specifically helping teachers in any way we can to provide the safest environment for our kids.
 
**PLEASE NOTE: We will not be able to restrict the fundraising flyers and literature from coming home with your child(ren) – you still will receive all PTO communications and of course, are still welcome to participate in all events and activities. This Opt-Out just gives you the chance to show your support for the year without having to fundraise further.**
