Butler Creek Work Party - Planting
Saturday, October 12, 2019

Butler Creek Conservation Area is located just south of Alger and east of Old Hwy 99. Butler Creek provides habitat for a variety of wildlife species, including coho salmon and cutthroat trout. Join Skagit Land Trust as we plant native species to conserve this beautiful property.

The Trust will provide tools, gloves, and refreshments. Please make sure you wear clothing appropriate for the weather.

Directions: Take I-5 North to Exit 240 towards Alger. Turn Right off the exit onto Lake Samish Road. Turn Right onto Old Highway 99. Turn Left at the address 2495 Old Highway 99. The address is located about .8 miles from the turn off of Lake Samish Road onto Old Highway 99. There is no car access back to the Trust property and please be cognizant that you must cross through an access easement on a private landowners property to reach the Raymer Conservation area.
****Instead of I-5 you can also take Old Highway 99 all the way South from Burlington
