GGO Programming Application (New Volunteers Spring 2024)
Welcome to Gateway to the Great Outdoors (GGO)! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with GGO this year. For the 2023-24 school year, we plan to offer recurring, weekly, in-person volunteering opportunities at our CPS partner schools, along with various field trip opportunities. 

We intend to pair IIT and UIC students with John B. Drake Elementary School, and UChicago students with John Fiske Elementary School. When recording your availability, please be sure to account for travel time to and from the school to your university. 

Programming sessions are 50 minutes (not including travel time). These sessions occur weekly and you are expected to be at every session unless you have an exam or an emergency. Please select all the times for which you are available and we will place you into a mentor group for a programming session.
