1. As a registered athlete you are eligible to compete under the rules and regulations of Athletics South Africa, WA and CGA
2. You will, at all times, conduct yourself in a proper manner and not bring yourself or the sport into disrepute
3. You will not make any public or media statements relating to the affairs of Athletics South Africa and Central Gauteng Athletics (CGA) in any way whatsoever, unless permission to do so was granted by the president of Central Gauteng Athletics. This applies equally to athletes who happen to be journalists or contributes to any media articles.
4. Should you have an athletics-regulated problem or grievance you must approach the chairperson of your club, and endeavor to solve the problem, if possible, at that level. You may copy your submission to the President of CGA. It is not considered appropriate in CGA for the grievances to be brought to a higher level, unless you have explored all other channels of grievance resolution.
5. You will not take any prohibited substance as contained in the regulations of the World Athletics (WA) and International Olympic Committee to enhance your performance in any way.
6. When you are a member of an official CGA team you will observe and comply with all decisions and orders given by team management.
7. When you are supplied with the official team clothing, you will strictly wear this clothing, and no other clothing from any other sponsor, until you leave the last point of assembly (competition venue, etc) and on your return.
8. If I am found guilty of misconduct such as stealing, damaging of property, any form of discrimination, I will be withdrawn from the team with immediate effect and disciplinary action will follow later.
9. In signing this document, I hereby declare that CGA will not be held liable for any loss of personal goods or any medical illnesses during the competition.
