Advanced Registration for the 2023-2024 Academic School Year
The following form is to register for our Academic School Year lessons/sessions contract which goes from August 28, 2023 to June 17, 2024. Short term lesson packages are not available to purchase for the fall until August.

Advanced registration will be open until July 20th.

Music Works will be raising tuition rates for the 2023-2024 academic school year. For advanced registration, there is a non-refundable $305 deposit to secure priority scheduling and DISCOUNTED 2023-2024 tuition rates. The monthly tuition prices are listed below under "Duration of Lessons".

Please note that there will be a change in the number of lessons covered in the 2023-2024 academic school year contract. Spring break (4/8/24-4/12/24) will now be a week for make-up lessons. Therefore, your academic school year contract will not include lessons this week. There will be an opportunity to purchase lessons for that week later in the year if your/your student's teacher is available.

On August 20th, the remaining balance (less the $305.00) is due for September tuition and June deposit.

We will email you from registration@musicworksnw.org to confirm we have received your advance registration form and/or to clarify your details after we have processed your form.

We will not email you confirmation of your timeslot for the school year until August after all the advanced registration forms have been processed.

10% Discount-Pay Full Tuition Upfront: We also offer an option to pay for all 10 months of tuition upfront with a 10% discount. If you are interested, please select it when answer how you'd like to be charged and we will email you to confirm your total before processing your registration.

ATTENTION: If you or your child takes multiple types of lessons (ie. piano, voice, etc.), please fill out a form for each lesson type.

Monthly tuition payments are due the 20th of the month prior to the month in which lessons are to be received (i.e. Nov. tuition is due Oct. 20)
Terms and Conditions
Tuition: Private lessons/sessions must be paid according to the monthly payment plan. Monthly payments are figured based on 38 lessons/sessions during the academic year and calculated at your locked-in per lesson/session rate. The balance of the first month and last month deposit will be due upon registration in order to schedule lessons/sessions. Monthly payments are due between the 18th-20th of the month prior to the month in which lessons/sessions are received. No Refunds will be issued.

Student Absences: Regular attendance by students for all programs is expected. Students are charged for all lessons/sessions for which they are registered. Students enrolling prior to December 1st may reschedule (2) excused absences in the academic year. Students enrolling December 1st or later may reschedule (1) excused absence in the academic year. Rescheduled lessons are dependent on instructor or Music Therapist availability. Excused Absences are defined as any absence in which the student gives the instructor or Music Therapist notice a minimum of 48 hours prior to the missed lesson/session. If 48 hours' notice is not received, the absence will be considered unexcused. There will be no makeup lessons/sessions provided for unexcused student absences. Faculty members have committed this time to your student. Please respect their busy schedules.

Instructor Absence: If a Music Works instructor or Music Therapist misses a lesson/session due to illness, emergency or other reason, the lesson will be rescheduled, OR the instructor or Music Therapist will provide a qualified, screened substitute to conduct lessons/sessions in their absence.

In the event that Music Works needs to close the building for any reason, lessons will be taught via online platforms.

Official Withdrawal from Lessons: If a student wishes to withdraw from private lessons/sessions prior to the end of the academic year, written notice must be given to the Music Works Registrar, at least 30 days in advance of the final lesson. Calling or failing to pay tuition is not a recognized form of withdrawal. Until notice is received the family/student is liable for all fees in full. Withdrawals prior to the end of the academic year will be charged a $25 administration fee.

Past Due Accounts: Payments are due before the 20th of the month prior to the month in which lessons are to be received. Accounts 10 days past due will be assessed a $15.00 fee and lessons will be suspended until the account status is brought to current. By registering or withdrawing from activities at Music Works Northwest, the student/parent/guardian agrees to pay these costs.
