📚💰 The Financial Literacy Program (FLP) empowers students in grades 6-12 with essential money management skills to prepare them for a successful future. Participants receive free access to:

✅ Educational Workshops on budgeting, saving, banking, credit, investing, and more

🏦 Interactive Bank Visits

💸 $1,000 Investment Opportunity funded by iACT
🎁 Financial Incentives ($20 gift cards) given upon completion of in-person sessions (up to $200 total)
🤝Partnership Creation with experts in the financial industry

Together, let's bring financial education to the youth of Austin! By sharing our knowledge and expertise, we empower students to manage and grow their money—building a path to financial independence and lasting success.

💼 Ways to Get Involved

We’re always excited to welcome presenters, volunteers, and hosts who are passionate about making a difference! Here are a few ways you can contribute:

🎤 Present a Workshop – Share your expertise on topics like:

Budgeting, saving, and career exploration
Investing, credit, and debt management
Predatory lending or another financial topic of interest

🏢 Host a Visit – Offer program participants a behind-the-scenes experience at your bank, investment firm, or company.

🙌 Volunteer Support – Assist during workshops as needed and provide hands-on guidance to participants.

🌐 Interpretation Services – Help with participant enrollment or interpret during sessions to ensure accessibility for all.

FLP Cohorts launch in January and run through August—and we’re always looking for presenters, volunteers, and hosts to get involved!
