New Mexico Fiber Crawl 2019 EVFAC Artist Application
Welcome! The New Mexico Fiber Crawl is an event organized and managed by EVFAC. The Fiber Crawl includes a variety of sites offering a rich Fiber Arts experience to all types of visitors. The focus of the event is to offer insight into the diversity and the wealth of Fiber Arts in New Mexico.

In 2019 the New Mexico Fiber Crawl will occur from Friday May 17th through Sunday May 19th, 10 am – 5 pm. Everyone is invited to sell their work, demo their art form and join our community!

EVENT TIMELINE AND DEADLINES:
Location: EVFAC, 325 Paseo de Onate, 87532
Application Due: April 15, 2019

Setup: Thursday, May 16, 10 am – 4 pm
Show Date and Time: Friday, May 17, 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday, May 18, 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday, May 19, 10 am – 5 pm
Clean Up: Sunday, May 19, 5 pm – 8 pm

SHOW DETAILS:
• Participation is nonrefundable amount of $15, due by April 15, 2019.
• Artists’ space is a flexible area of about 10’ x 5’.
• EVFAC will manage all sales transactions at the show at a consignment rate of 85% for the artists and 15% for EVFAC.
• Artists will be responsible for managing their own display, inventory and customer interactions.
• Artists will be expected to create sales slips (provided by EVFAC) to the customer, who will then take them to the main register and return to pick-up the item with receipt of purchase.
• EVFAC will issue checks and sales reports to participants who have sold items approximately three weeks after the show.
• Artists are responsible for their own insurance to cover breakages, loss, and theft of their merchandise.
• EVFAC is responsible for all marketing efforts, rental negotiations, and space layout.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Artists must be active Members of EVFAC at the time of the application and of the event.
• Participants must meet all deadlines, requirements and agree to all show details.
• All items must be hand crafted by the artist, or with value added by the artist.
• Artists are encouraged to offer demonstrations of their work.
• Participants are required to conduct their own Set Up and Clean Up be present throughout the event.
• All artists are required to submit a completed W9 to EVFAC before the event.
