Please read the following carefully, and SUBMIT your application when finished. Upon acceptance, we will ask for a signed copy of the Nonprofit Agreement.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

SHOPPING LIST AND ONLINE STORE We will provide an alternative gift shopping list and online store, listing each participating nonprofit organization and their designated gift items.

GREETING CARDS, CARD INSERTS, AND ENVELOPES We provide a gift card, card insert, and envelope describing the specific gift item purchased by each shopper.

ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION In conjunction with the participating nonprofit organizations, we will advertise the Gifts That Give Hope fair through emails, social media, press releases and other media venues.

DISTRIBUTION OF CHECKS TO PARTICIPATING NONPROFITS We will collect all donations via our online store and issue timely distribution of checks to the participating nonprofit organizations no later than January 31.

PARTICIPATING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION AGREES TO:

SUBMIT AN ONLINE APPLICATION All nonprofits must submit an online application including completed gift items with dollar values by the deadline specified on the website.
- Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee participation.
- A total of 18-20 nonprofits are selected each year. Nonprofit applications are reviewed and carefully selected by the Gifts That Give Hope planning committee.
- A fair representative will contact you by October 16th, 2020 to confirm whether you have been chosen for the current year.

PAY NONPROFIT REGISTRATION FEE Upon acceptance to the current year’s fair, a $30 registration fee is assessed for all confirmed nonprofit organizations. The fee is due with your signed agreement no later than October 30th, 2020.

ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE THE GIFT FAIR All participating non-profits are expected to advertise the gift fair: This includes word-of-mouth, newsletters, social media, email blasts, press releases and other communications. We have seen a DIRECT correlation between the organizations that heavily promote the gift fair and their revenue for the day of the fair. We will provide media materials for you to use to facilitate promotion of the gift fair.

USE REVENUE FOR PURPOSES STATED Must agree to use the revenue generated through the fair for the purposes stated on the shopping list and not for general operating expenses.

SERVICE FEES The participating nonprofit organization agrees that GTGH reserves the right to retain up to a 10% from the revenue generated from the fair and online store to cover the expenses of hosting the fair.
