Collaborative Code of Conduct1. Attend all general meetings, either in person or virtually. If you must miss a meeting, email the facilitator in advance. Members who miss more than 2 meetings in a row will not remain on the Collaborative.
2. Arrive on time, and adhere to the agenda as approved by the Steering Committee. If you would like to add a topic to the agenda, email the facilitator in advance for consideration at least 3 days in advance of the meeting.
3. Consider the interests of other group members when reviewing ideas and projects. Remain open-minded to recreational opportunities enjoyed by other user groups. Refrain from being competitive or exclusive. Consider any outdoor recreation projects within the geographic boundaries of your Collaborative, even if it is a project that you will not personally use.
4. Review information and project proposals that are emailed to you, and stay informed. Ask questions if you do not understand a project.
5. Understand and actively engage in the decision making process, as outlined in the Charter.
6. Review the charter periodically to familiarize yourself with the mission of the Collaborative.
7. Speak to the whole group when talking and avoid side conversations. Side conversations interfere with the audio for those who are attending online. If you are attending online, please use the "raise hand" button to speak.
8. Be attentive and considerate when others are speaking. Be collaborative. Be kind.
9. Communicate any concerns that may arise directly to the facilitator. Facilitators will share these comments, along with recommendations for action, with the Steering Committee. Facilitation of all 8 Outdoor Recreation Collaboratives is a service provided to communities by the State of Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation.
10. Understand and fully agree that the Collaborative is not a place for grandstanding or airing grievances with other Collaborative members, guest presenters, the facilitators, elected officials, or agency partners.
