Andrew Mulkey will join Phillip Callaway of Friends of Linn County to discuss a proposal to rezone 108 acres of farm/forest land to a small-acre non-resource zone. We learned a lot about Goal 5, Willamette Valley ponderosa pine, and new development in a high wildfire risk area from this case and think it's worth sharing with the Affiliate network. We secured a rare reversal of the county's approval at LUBA, had a disappointing ruling from the Court of Appeals, and are waiting to hear back from the Oregon Supreme Court on a petition to review.
