SCC members meet twice a month with the Police Chief. The first meeting of each month will focus on discussion of leadership, critical thinking, and decision making. At the conclusion of the first meeting, students will be given a case to analyze. The second meeting of each month will focus on student discussion, and how they addressed key issues presented in the case. Special attention will be given to the aspects of leadership, how to think critically, and how to make informed decisions. Student will also have an opportunity to meet police officers on a personal level, participate in ride-alongs, and will be assigned a law-enforcement project they must complete by the end of the semester.
This is the official Student-Chief Council application for the 2018-2019 school year. Please note that previous forms, such as "SCC Application 2017-18," will not be accepted. Answers should be succinct and to-the-point. Responses due by September 21st, 5PM.
