During move out time in June, around 1 million pounds of waste is collected from Isla Vista EVERY YEAR. The Give Benefit Sale is the largest effort to save usable items from the landfill during this time and sell them back into the community. Volunteers are ESSENTIAL to this process and we can't do it without you! If you are going to volunteer, a minimum of 2 hours of your time is required. Thank you!
What will I be doing as a volunteer?: You will be helping to prepare for the Give Benefit Sale by sorting through & organizing donations.
Volunteer Windows Open to Everyone:
- Wednesday, June 12th from 1pm-8pm
- Thursday, June 13th THROUGH Thursday June 20th from 8am-8pm
How to Volunteer: Please fill out the Google Form below and show up to Embarcadero Hall during any of the Volunteer Windows. Upon arrival, you will finalize registration and be given a task.
