Sponsors fund what makes the day possible (prizes, venue, food, the tools people build with) and get direct, working contact with the builders in the room. We do not publish packages: tell us about your company and what you would like to contribute and we come back with a proposal for a specific event. Sponsorship does not buy a seat on the judging panel or any say in who wins. Do you have colleagues who would be strong judges for this or a future event? *
Your colleagues are welcome to judge alongside the event you sponsor. We do not increase the weight of a judge application because the applicant's company is a sponsor: every judge applies through the judge application form at hackathons.team/judges/apply/ and is assessed on the same published standard. Sponsor affiliation is shown on the panel, and sponsor-affiliated judges recuse from projects built on your product. We ask because it builds a larger pool of qualified judges for this and future events.
